Booted out by dad, but Peaches Geldof lands in five-star luxury

She may have been kicked out of her father's house but things appear to have turned out rather well for Peaches Geldof. 

The 20-year- old socialite is living in one of London's most exclusive hotels for next to nothing. 

Miss Geldof has managed to negotiate a deal to become an 'ambassador' for the five-star Mayfair Hotel, saving her almost £50,000 in bills over the past 14 weeks.

In return for making sure she is photographed outside the front of the building and writing about it in her magazine columns, she only has to pay a fraction of the bill each time she stays. 

Earlier this month the Mail revealed Peaches has been checking into a London hotel rather than stay in the family home in Battersea, South-West London. 

She fell out with Bob Geldof over a series of photographs of her in revealing outfits, as well as over an underwear advertising campaign. 

However, she has secured a double bedroom at the Mayfair, which normally costs £330 a night, and is occasionally offered one of the 12 suites, which costs up to £1,000-a-night. She often stays for weeks at a time. 

She is given free meals in the restaurant  -  where dinner for two costs more than £100  -  and has been told she does not have to pay for her drinks in the bar. Her dinner, drinks and room service bills alone are said to have cost almost £10,000 over the last 14 weeks. 

She has also taken advantage of the hotel's spa, where treatments can cost up to £350. 

Miss Geldof was offered the ambassador role after leaving the family home in February. 

Such deals are usually reserved for A-list celebrities such as the Beckhams, who are also on the Mayfair's books. 

A source said: 'Peaches has basically been living at the hotel. She has spent a huge amount of money here with her friends and the tab is taken care of. 

'It's felt she is a good ambassador for the hotel and because of that she is allowed to have friends stay with her and have parties up in her room.'
