Aguilera to star in Burlesque

Sexy singer Christina Aguilera is to make her movie debut in a starring role in the musical Burlesque.

According to Variety she will play an "ambitious small town girl with a big voice who finds love, family and success in a Los Angeles burlesque club".

The movie will start shooting later this year. This is the first time that Aguilera, a former Disney child star who has won four Grammy Awards, is appearing in a movie.
